Spider-Man 2 Not Getting Story DLC, PC Port Announced

Insomniac Games Confirms Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Story DLC Cancellation

Insomniac Games has officially confirmed that there will be no story DLC released for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This news came alongside the announcement of a PC port for the popular superhero game.

What Insight Did Insomniac Games Offer on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Story DLC?

According to Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager Aaron Jason Espinoza, “While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more.”

This decision may come as a surprise to fans, as the original 2018 game received story DLC in the form of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, as well as the spin-off Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. There were even hints of potential story DLC found in the game’s debug menu during a recent patch. However, it appears that Insomniac Games has chosen to focus on other aspects of the game for now.

For those eagerly awaiting the PC port, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available in two editions:
