Wizards of the Coast Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons
Wizards of the Coast is going all out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons. Along with releasing a new Player’s Handbook (the 2024 edition Dungeon Master’s Guide is set to launch mid-November), the company has revealed an upcoming album perfect for a tabletop adventure.
Bardic Inspiration: A Musical Journey through the Forgotten Realms is scheduled to release on Nov. 15 and will be available in both digital format and as a double vinyl for $49.99. Pre-orders are currently open on Amazon.
Bardic Inspiration Album Details
Bardic Inspiration, composed by Michael Gatt, features 12 tracks that pay tribute to the rich lore and captivating adventures that have shaped D&D over the past fifty years. The tracklist includes popular locations like Baldur’s Gate and Waterdeep, as well as iconic characters from D&D history such as Drizzt the dark elf, Lolth the Demon Queen of Spiders, and Tiamat. The first single, “Arise, Tiamat!”, is now available for streaming on Apple Music.
