Wizards of the Coast has recently unveiled their product lineup for Magic: The Gathering in 2025. Among the big announcements are collaborations with the Final Fantasy and Marvel franchises. However, one of the more understated reveals is the introduction of a new, limited edition set called Innistrad Remastered, set to launch on Jan. 25, 2025. This set, much like the recently announced Foundations set, will feature revamped versions of the series’ most beloved cards, drawing from gothic horror expansions like Shadows over Innistrad, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, and Innistrad: Crimson Vow.
Designed with veterans and collectors in mind, this limited edition set comes with a premium price tag. Currently, Play Booster and Collector’s Booster boxes are available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon. Stay tuned for updates on additional products and retailers.
Innistrad Remastered Play Booster packs consist of 14 cards from the new expansion, featuring up to four rare or higher quality cards, including at least one foil card. Approximately 20% of Play Boosters include a traditional foil land card and Retro-frame card. Play Boosters can be pre-ordered in boxes of 36 packs on Amazon for $251.64.
For the more selective player, Innistrad Remastered will also introduce Collector’s Booster packs. These 15-card packs guarantee at least four rare or higher quality cards, six cards with alternate-frame treatments, and a Retro-frame art card. Collector’s Boosters give players a chance to obtain one of 500 serialized Edgar Markov cards or Movie Poster cards that reimagine iconic MTG characters as classic movie monsters. Pre-order Collector’s Boosters in 12-pack boxes on Amazon for $359.88.
