Fortnite live event start time: When does the ‘Remix: The Prelude’ event begin?
Fortnite’s “Remix: The Prelude” live event starts on Friday, November 1, at the following times:
You can also check out the countdown to “Remix: The Prelude” in the lobby or in-game at Restored Reels.
Matchmaking for modes made by Epic — including Battle Royale and Zero Build — usually go offline two hours before a live event, paving the way for the event itself to take center stage.
Based on previous live events, you should be able to join the “Remix: The Prelude” event itself 30 minutes before it begins — at 6 p.m. EST, or your local equivalent — which we’d recommend doing in case capacity is limited, as has been the case with Fortnite events in the past.
What can we expect from Fortnite’s ‘Remix: The Prelude’ event?
Epic itself has been pretty tight-lipped about what’s coming, but has teased a big change coming with the inclusion of a rift butterfly in the promotional videos and now on its official X page. There’s also a rift beacon pointing at the screen in Restored Reels.
There are rumors and speculation that the live event could be a performance by Marshmello, who hosted Fortnite’s first live event back in 2019. There have also been some suggesting that it could be a performance by none other than Snoop Dogg.
Whatever the event is, it’s expected to be played on the screen in Restored Reels once the event starts and that rift beacon activates.
