Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost introduces Arcane Embrace, a unique shotgun that fires two slugs per trigger pull, making it a formidable weapon for taking down tough enemies and bosses. With its god roll perks, it’s a valuable addition to any Guardian’s arsenal.
How To Obtain Arcane Embrace
You can acquire Arcane Embrace by completing the Haunted Sectors activity during the Festival of the Lost event or by visiting vendor Eva Levante in the Tower. By completing Eva’s initial set of quests at the start of the festival, you are guaranteed to receive an Arcane Embrace with Trench Barrel and Dual Loader perks, exclusive to this reward. Additionally, you can participate in Haunted Sectors for a chance to earn different rolls of Arcane Embrace.
Earn Eerie Engrams throughout the event and decrypt them for a chance to obtain the shotgun. Eva also offers the option to “focus” your Eerie Engrams to target specific rewards from the Festival loot pool and increase your chances of obtaining Arcane Embrace.

- Rapidly landing precision shots will return two rounds to the magazine.
- Second Perk: Surrounded / Precision Instrument
- Surrounded: This weapon gains improved bonus damage when three or more targets are in close proximity.
- Precision Instrument: Dealing sustained damage significantly increases precision damage.
- Masterwork: Handling or Reload Speed
Focusing on reload speed and handling will enhance the effectiveness of Arcane Embrace in dealing massive damage quickly. The Fourth Time’s the Charm perk helps in keeping the gun loaded, while Surrounded and Precision Instrument provide additional damage boosts. Use Precision Instrument for landing headshots and Surrounded when surrounded by enemies.
It’s worth noting that the Dual Loader / Trench Barrel roll from Eva’s quest reward is a solid option that cannot be obtained through random rolls.
