Introducing Support Virtual Agent
Support Virtual Agent has been launched as an AI-powered solution to assist Xbox players in resolving their support-related gaming issues more efficiently. This feature is now available to select Xbox Insiders on support.xbox.com. The Support Virtual Agent is designed to access information from support.xbox.com to address questions related to Xbox console and game support problems.
Xbox Insiders in the United States who have English selected as their preferred language can start previewing the Support Virtual Agent today by visiting support.xbox.com while signed in with an account registered with the Xbox Insider Program.
Your feedback as an Xbox Insider during this preview experience is crucial for improving the Support Virtual Agent. You can provide feedback by using the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” button on each response or through the “Give feedback” button at the bottom of the page as you interact with the Support Virtual Agent.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
Beginning today, Xbox Insiders will find the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact us” page on support.xbox.com. Sign in with the same account you used to register with the Xbox Insider Program, and a new option will appear to ask the Support Virtual Agent a question.
When you click on “Ask a question,” the Support Virtual Agent will open in a new browser window. You can ask questions via text or voice, and it will provide relevant information from support.xbox.com. If the Support Virtual Agent is unable to resolve the issue, you can request to speak with a live support agent during Xbox Support’s regular hours of operation.
During this preview phase, you also have the option to customize your support experience by selecting between two different Support Virtual Agents from the ellipsis menu icon.
