Sony confirms more than 50 games will be PS5 Pro enhanced at launch

More than 50 games are to receive PS5 Pro enhancement patches on launch day

With the highly anticipated release of the PS5 Pro just around the corner, gamers are eager to learn which games will be receiving enhancement patches on launch day. For those who have pre-ordered the PS5 Pro, the official PlayStation Blog has revealed that over 50 games are set to receive these patches when the mid-gen console launches on November 7.

These enhancement patches are expected to improve performance and image quality, delivering framerates of 60fps – 120fps without compromising resolution, as sometimes seen on the base PS5 console. The PS5 Pro will also leverage PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), a dynamic resolution solution similar to Nvidia’s DLSS, to enhance image quality and performance during gameplay.

Sony has already released teaser trailers for some of the games, including Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The complete list of PS5 Pro enhanced games available on day one can be found on the PlayStation Blog post, but we’ve also compiled it here for your convenience:

Titles include Alan Wake 2, Demon’s Souls, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard
