Naughty Dog’s Secret Project
Neil Druckmann, the head of Naughty Dog, has revealed that the studio’s new game is currently in development with his “full creative control.” This announcement was made during an online panel discussion with Ken Levine, the creator of BioShock.
Game in Development Since 2020
According to Druckmann, Naughty Dog’s upcoming game has been in the works since 2020. While Sony has prohibited him from officially announcing the project, they have given him the freedom to lead the creative direction.
The panel, titled ‘Jewish Visionaries in Gaming: Ken Levine and Neil Druckmann Inspire the Next Generation,’ has mysteriously disappeared from YouTube. However, a Facebook event page for the webinar and screenshots shared by Reddit users indicate its occurrence.
Although details are scarce, speculations suggest that Naughty Dog’s next game might be a fantasy title emphasizing player freedom. Some job listings hint at a possible first-person perspective for the game, but nothing has been confirmed.
One thing that has been confirmed by Druckmann is that this new project is not related to The Last of Us Part 3.
