This one was a challenge. I managed to figure out the “YELLOW” group (ALLIANCE) easily, but then hit a roadblock.
I explored different possibilities like SLEEK and SLINKY, or CLINGY and POSSESSIVE, but couldn’t complete a group. After a couple of failed attempts, it finally clicked – POSSESSIVE, CONTRACTION, and QUOTATION all revolve around WHAT AN APOSTROPHE MIGHT INDICATE, with FOOT as the final word in purple.
Moving on to green, I struggled until I realized that CLOSE-FITTING was the common theme for CLINGY, SLEEK, SLINKY, and SNUG. I should have caught that sooner.
For blue, the answer was tied to OCCASIONS WHEN ONE MIGHT KNEEL, with DUBBING being the fourth word. I’m still unsure about the connection there, so if you have insights, please share!
