Retroware’s Iron Meat Update
After the successful launch of Iron Meat in September, the team at Retroware has been diligently working on exciting new content updates for this modern retro game!
Mirror, Mirror
One of the most requested features in Iron Meat is Mirror Mode, allowing players to traverse each level in reverse. This seemingly simple update offers a fresh experience by facing enemies, bosses, and levels in a completely new way. Unlock this mode after completing the game on any difficulty!
Red Rapid Fire
The latest update introduces the automatic Supercharge upgrade, offering a new tier of weapon enhancements. Equipping this upgrade turns all projectiles red, regardless of their original color. Players can receive this upgrade by acquiring a duplicate of fully upgraded weapons, resulting in a powerful new color scheme for their arsenal!
My 1UPs, Thank You
In this update, extra lives earned during gameplay now persist between levels. Players can retain any surplus lives accumulated, providing an added advantage as they progress through the game.
Visual Enhancements to Level Backgrounds
Enhancements to level backgrounds include additional details to enrich Iron Meat’s narrative. From helicopter assaults on Meat monsters to explosive meteor impacts, these new elements offer a deeper immersion into the game’s storyline.
Other Updates
- Increased default damage for specific weapon upgrades.
- Added more adversaries to various areas within the Moon Base level.
- Adjusted the MI-24 helicopter boss fight mechanics for clarity.
- Implemented fairness improvements across all levels, such as making certain enemies easier to defeat.
We’re thrilled to provide a sneak peek into the future of Iron Meat with these updates and look forward to unveiling more exciting content in the upcoming releases. Iron Meat is now available for your gaming enjoyment!
