New Store Bundle Hints at the Return of The Double Tap Perk in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Black Ops 6 Players Speculate on the Return of Double Tap Perk

Some players of Black Ops 6 believe that Treyarch is hinting at the addition of the next Perk-a-Cola to the game, with references to Double Tap appearing in a new store bundle. The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was highly anticipated and has received positive feedback since its launch.

Black Ops 6 exceeded the expectations of many players by offering two exciting round-based experiences from day one. Treyarch has also announced plans to continue releasing Zombies content for the game in 2024, with a new Zombies map called Citadelle des Morts set to arrive in Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded.

Double Tap May Be Returning in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Players have noticed a reference to the popular Double Tap Perk in a new store bundle, sparking speculation that it may make a comeback in the post-launch content of Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Activision recently introduced a new bundle in the in-game store, the Mastercraft: Idead Tracer Pack, which includes a weapon called Big Boomer. This weapon features a Juggernog Perk-a-Cola can on its muzzle, as well as a clear reference to the classic Double Tap Perk.

The Operator skin in the same bundle also includes a Double Tap Root Beer keychain, along with several other Perk-a-Cola vials. These references suggest that Double Tap may indeed be returning to Black Ops 6 Zombies.

With the confirmation of a new Perk coming in Season 1 Reloaded alongside Citadelle des Morts, it seems that Treyarch is dropping hints about what’s to come.

What The Black Ops 6 Double Tap Return May Look Like

For those unfamiliar, Double Tap (or Double Tap Root Beer) is a Perk that first appeared in Call of Duty: World at War and later in the first three Black Ops games. It increases a weapon’s fire rate by 33%, allowing for faster shooting and quicker equipment usage.

In Black Ops 6, Double Tap will come with six Augments that enable players to customize and enhance the Perk’s abilities. The specific details of this version of Double Tap are still unknown, leaving players eager to see how it will impact gameplay.
