No Man’s Sky’s limited-time Expeditions are returning over the next two months

No Man’s Sky Expedition Redux Event: What to Expect

As the year comes to a close, Hello Games is bringing back all the limited-time Expedition events from 2024 in No Man’s Sky. This gives players another opportunity to participate in these events and earn various rewards that may have been missed the first time around.

Fast-Paced Expeditions

Typically lasting around six weeks, the latest Redux event in No Man’s Sky is moving at a rapid pace, with one Expedition happening every fortnight. The first event, Omega, which started 2024’s Expeditions in February, is currently live and will run until 11th December.

Upcoming Redux Schedule

  • Omega: 27th November – 11th December
  • Adrift: 11th December – 25th December
  • Liquidators: 25th December – 8th January
  • Aquarius: 8th January – 22nd January
  • The Cursed: 22nd January – 5th February

Rewards and Highlights

Each Expedition offers unique rewards and challenges. For example, Adrift features a haunted frigate called the Ship of the Damned, while Liquidators involves hunting bugs across the stars to earn organic chitlin armor. Aquarius focuses on introducing a new fishing system, offering equipment and a bobblehead for your starship’s dashboard, and The Cursed is a horror-themed Expedition with rewards like customizations, bioluminescent pets, and a unique starship.

Exciting Updates

The Expedition Redux event is now live on all platforms, following the recent news that No Man’s Sky has reached “Very Positive” reviews on Steam after eight years since its launch. While achieving an “Overwhelmingly Positive” ranking may be a challenge, Hello Games has hinted at more exciting updates and content for No Man’s Sky in the future.
