Pokémon TCG Pocket Venusaur Drop Event

Golly, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket continues to surprise us with constant new updates, doesn’t it? The first-ever ‘Drop Event’ has just kicked off, offering players the chance to snag some exclusive promo cards by participating in special promo battles.

Venusaur Drop Event Details

The Venusaur Drop Event is live starting today until December 13th at 05:59 am / 09:59 pm PST (December 12th). By completing each of the four battles available in the event section on the app’s ‘Solo’ page, you stand a chance to receive a special ‘Promo Pack’ containing one of these Promo Cards: Haunter, Jigglypuff, Onix, Greninja, or Venusaur.

These Promo Packs are earned through chance rewards based on predetermined probabilities. However, if you perform well in the event over the next two weeks and have the Event Energy to spare, you should be able to collect a decent number of these packs.

With the focus on the Venusaur evolution line, expect to encounter plenty of Grass Types during the Drop Event. Keep this in mind when selecting your deck for battle.
