All Three Asus ROG Ally Models Get Big Discounts At Best Buy For Cyber Monday

All Three Asus ROG Ally Models on Sale for Cyber Monday

All three models of the Asus ROG Ally are currently on sale for Cyber Monday at Best Buy, but these deals will expire tonight at 10 PM PT / 1 AM ET.

Asus ROG Ally with AMD Ryzen Z1 Chip

The Asus ROG Ally with the AMD Ryzen Z1 chip is now discounted to $350, down from its original price of $500. This price drop matches the lowest price ever for this handheld gaming PC.

ROG Ally Z1 Extreme

For those looking for more power, the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme is on sale for $500, reduced from $650 at Best Buy. However, My Best Buy Plus members can purchase it for $450. If you’re not a member, signing up for a membership at $50 per year can make this deal worthwhile as it essentially gives you the membership for free. Additionally, there is a $100 discount on the ROG Ally X, which offers even more significant performance improvements.

Features of the Base Model ROG Ally

The base model ROG Ally comes equipped with a sharp 1080p screen, AMD’s Ryzen Z1 processor, 16GB LPDDR5 6400 RAM, and an internal 512GB NVMe SSD. If you need more storage space, you can easily upgrade with a microSD card or opt for the WD Black SN770M 1TB or 2TB drive on sale at Best Buy. Additionally, the Corsair MP600 Core Mini 1TB SSD is available for just $70 on Amazon.

The ROG Ally is capable of delivering impressive performance for its price, allowing you to play many AAA titles in 1080p resolution at a minimum of 30fps. While it may not handle graphically demanding games at high settings, it excels with older AAA titles and indie games that are well-suited for handheld devices.

Enhancements of ROG Ally Z1 Extreme and ROG Ally X

The ROG Ally with the Z1 Extreme chip offers two additional CPU cores and a better GPU, making it a better choice for newer, more graphically demanding games. This same chip is utilized in the newest addition to the Asus handheld PC lineup, the ROG Ally X. The ROG Ally X comes with 24GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, improved battery life, and upgraded joysticks.

It’s worth noting that Asus will be releasing a $900 edition of the ROG Ally X with a 2TB SSD on December 9th.
