Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is heading to Game Pass this week

Game Pass Welcomes Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the revamped version of the racing game that once outshined Mario Kart according to Eurogamer’s Chris Tapsell, will be available on Game Pass starting this Wednesday, December 4th.

Developed by Beenox, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a lively remaster of the 1999 PlayStation classic Crash Team Racing. This remaster not only received a significant visual and audio upgrade but also incorporated elements from Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Tag Team Racing. In his review from 2019, Chris Tapsell described it as a “gold-standard remaster” that captures the original CTR’s charm while adding more.

“It’s pure, silly fun, a game that embraces its essence wholeheartedly,” Tapsell remarked. “Perhaps that’s why, despite the fantastic treatment by Beenox, CTR remains one of the greatest kart racers ever made.” After receiving the Eurogamer Essential stamp of approval, reactions were explosive across the gaming community.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is the first game confirmed for Microsoft’s December Game Pass lineup. Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year, titles like Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Diablo 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have gradually become available on the subscription service.

For those not currently subscribed to Game Pass, Microsoft has reintroduced its previous £1/$1 14-day trial offer, exclusively for PC users.
