Antonblast Delayed on Nintendo Switch
Summitsphere, the developer behind the highly-anticipated platformer Antonblast, has announced a delay in its release for the Nintendo Switch. While the game is still set to launch on Steam on December 3, 2024, the Switch version requires further refinement.
In a statement on social media, director Tony Grayson explained, “We need more time to ensure that this iteration of the game meets our rigorous performance standards, as well as those of Nintendo.”
The team remains committed to a 2024 release date, indicating that the game is likely just weeks away from completion. They have promised to provide regular updates to eager fans as the development progresses.
For players eager to experience Antonblast, a demo is available on the Switch eShop. With stunning pixel art visuals, the game offers a fast-paced action platforming experience filled with charm and humorous character designs.
Originally delayed due to the impact of Hurricane Helene and Milton in the US earlier this year, developers at Summitsphere have put in considerable effort to ensure the game’s success, evident from its positive reception on Steam. Anticipation is high for the imminent release of the Nintendo Switch version.
