Black Myth: Wukong Receives Exciting New Update
Black Myth: Wukong fans have something to look forward to with the latest update for the record-breaking action-RPG. Director of the game had previously teased some “surprises” coming before the end of the year, and now players can enjoy a range of new features and improvements.
Keeper’s Shrine Challenges
The update introduces Keeper’s Shrine challenges, which unlock after completing the game once. Players can engage in two types of challenges – Return of Rivals and Gauntlet of Legends. Return of Rivals offers one-on-one fights with former opponents across different difficulty levels. On the other hand, Gauntlet of Legends presents a series of battles with returning enemies, some with new moves, and rewards rare treasures for successful completion.
Journeyer’s Charts and Special Armor
In addition to the challenges, players can now access Journeyer’s Charts for better navigation and new special armor pieces to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. Journeyer’s Charts provide maps for guidance and marking, while the special armor pieces can be claimed at any Keeper’s Shrine.
Other Enhancements
The update (1.0.12.16581) also includes bug fixes, performance improvements, boss tweaks, and the addition of the Black Myth: Wukong Soundtrack Selection to the music library. Players can find the update on the Epic Games Store, with a gradual rollout to other platforms. Full patch notes are available on Game Science’s website for more details.
