Bandai Namco Unveils New Pac-Man Game ‘Shadow Labyrinth’
Bandai Namco surprised fans during The Game Awards by announcing a new 2D action platformer Pac-Man game called Shadow Labyrinth.
With Tekken’s Katsuhiro Harada as the executive producer and a team consisting of creators, directors, and game designers from various acclaimed series, such as Samurai Shodown, King of Fighters, and Kirby, this game is shaping up to be something special.
For those eager to get their hands on a physical edition for the Nintendo Switch, both standard and “secret” editions are already confirmed for release in 2025. Thanks to Physic Releases on ‘X’, we can catch a glimpse of what’s to come:
The collector’s edition comes packed with extra goodies like a pin set, a double-sided poster, stickers, and a key chain. Additionally, players will receive digital bonuses, including “original arcade sound FX” and a digital art book and soundtrack.
Furthermore, the game has been in development since 2020 and ties in with Amazon’s ‘Secret Level’ episode, serving as a prequel to this upcoming title. Find out more in the original announcement post.
