The box art for the European and North American markets sticks to the classic Zelda theme – a gold background with a single item in the center. This time, it’s a sword instead of a shield, and the design features a simple yet fitting logo. The cutout shaped like a shield adds a cool touch, revealing the golden NES cartridge beneath.

Japan

The Japanese box art features a recognizable piece of artwork that many Zelda fans will appreciate. The bold lettering at the top adds impact to the design, although it lacks the cutout and gold background of the western version. Nevertheless, it presents a sweet and different approach to the game cover.
