Warner Bros. Quietly Delisted a Bunch of Games Over Christmas

List of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games delisted by WB

Warner Bros. Discovery quietly removed several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games from the PS Store and other online stores just before the holiday season. Among the casualties were Steven Universe games, leading developer Grumpyface Studio to release a statement expressing their disappointment over the decision.

Games Removed from Sale

  • OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time (Adult Swim)
  • Steven Universe: Save the Light
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light
  • Adventure Time: Finn and Jake’s Epic Quest
  • Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games

Grumpyface also mentioned that WB had taken down mobile games Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans.

Although Grumpyface clarified that they were not involved in the decision to remove these games from sale, they expressed their inability to comment further on the situation. “All inquiries regarding the discontinuation of these games should be directed to Cartoon Network and WB,” the statement stated. “We are deeply saddened by this.”

WB’s decision to remove games without warning was reminiscent of a similar incident earlier this year involving an indie developer, which received backlash.

As of now, the only way to acquire any of the removed games is through Nintendo Switch download codes, which are available at select retailers.
