Collaboration Between Huawei AppGallery and Emirates Esports Federation
China-based technology company Huawei has announced a new partnership with the Emirates Esports Federation (EESF) through its Android application store, Huawei AppGallery.
The collaboration aims to drive innovation and growth in the esports and mobile gaming ecosystem in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). By working together, Huawei AppGallery and EESF will focus on supporting local talent, creating opportunities for gamers and developers, and organizing tournaments and campaigns.
One of the key initiatives of this partnership is the AppGallery Gamers Cup tournaments in the UAE, where EESF will provide government endorsements and professional player support. Additionally, EESF will promote mobile games available on the Huawei AppGallery platform.
Signing of Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Sultan Bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan, President of Emirates Esports Federation, and William Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa Eco-Development and Operation.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
