Updates Coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in 2025

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was a surprise hit in 2024 and has been receiving constant updates throughout the year. The momentum is set to continue into 2025 with exciting new additions on the horizon.

The latest community update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has provided a sneak peek into what players can expect in the upcoming year. Developer Saber Interactive has promised that 2025 will be just as epic as 2024.

The game has already seen updates such as new PvE missions and cosmetic packs since its launch on September 9, and more is on the way. Fresh PvP content is planned for 2025, starting with a new map that will bring intense melee combat in a closed environment with narrow passages. Custom lobbies will also be introduced, offering players the ability to tweak various matchmaking parameters.

PvE players can look forward to the highly-anticipated Horde Mode, scheduled for release later in 2025. The mode will challenge players to survive against waves of enemies for as long as possible. Additionally, a Prestige Rank system will be implemented, providing new ways to progress and upgrade classes. A new difficulty level will also be introduced, offering unique rewards for those who conquer it.

Players can also anticipate the arrival of a new Champion from the Salamander Chapter, a formidable sniper. The Battle Barge will see expansion through the introduction of the Datavault, a new area with unlockable information about the game.

For those eager to jump in, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
