Grouping creatures that give me the “ick” feeling seemed to be an obvious category, and it was confirmed as EARTHWORM, EEL, SALAMANDER, and SLUG were all classified as SLIMY ANIMALS.
Reminiscing about living in a basement flat where slugs were a constant nuisance, we resorted to using table salt to keep them at bay. Despite our efforts, the slugs always found a way in, leaving slimy trails in their wake. The only solution – wear CLOGs or move out.

Players are allowed up to four mistakes and can use a process of elimination to solve the final group. NYT Connections is more intricate than games like Wordle, incorporating various wordplay elements that can catch players off guard.
The game is available for free on desktop and mobile through the NYT Games site.
