Bizarre GTA 6 leak appears to come from inside Rockstar’s own office

Leaked GTA 6 Image Surfaces from Rockstar’s Office

Recently, images supposedly taken inside Rockstar’s San Diego office have made their way online, showcasing what appears to be GTA 6 running on a computer screen. While the leaked image features the main character Lucia standing next to a wall and some crates, it’s important to note that the image dates back to the summer of 2021, approximately three and a half years ago.

Unusual Leak Source – Rockstar’s Office

What sets this leak apart is that the image was captured within Rockstar’s own offices and shared online by an individual seemingly unfazed by any repercussions. The photo, along with two accompanying video clips providing a glimpse of the office environment, was initially posted on reddit by user JustLovett0 around 17 hours ago. According to the post, the image was taken by someone close to the user while working at the Rockstar office for a few months back in 2021.

Details of the Office Environment

Upon closer inspection, the office setting appears quite generic, but unmistakably belongs to the Rockstar San Diego building based on the visible windows and frontage. Desks within the vicinity house PlayStation and Xbox developer kits, with one kit labeled with a code beginning with “SAND,” likely a nod to San Diego.

Community Response and Closure

In response to queries about potential repercussions, JustLovett0 mentioned that their acquaintance has since moved far from Rockstar and is no longer associated with the company or related industries. While there is a level of concern, the post may be deleted in the near future as a precaution. The original post has been removed but reuploaded on other reddit threads. Eurogamer has reached out to Rockstar for comments on the matter.

Previous GTA 6 Leak Incident

This incident follows a previous leak back in September 2022 when a teenage hacker from the UK accessed a significant amount of in-development GTA 6 footage and files. This leak, one of the major ones in gaming history, led to the arrest of the perpetrator, who was later deemed unfit to stand trial.
