New Call of Duty Squid Game Event Now Live
A thrilling Squid Game crossover event has made its way into the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, courtesy of a collaboration with Netflix. This exciting event brings with it a host of new multiplayer modes, enticing free rewards, and a plethora of cosmetic skins to adorn your characters with.
Red Light, Green Light Multiplayer Mode
One of the main attractions of this event is the introduction of the Red Light, Green Light multiplayer mode, allowing players to immerse themselves in the iconic death game from the popular show. Divided into three rounds, participants must strive to reach the finish line while under the eerie gaze of the Young-hee doll.
Exciting New Modes
Aside from the Red Light, Green Light mode, the event also features Pentathlon, a unique blend of Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint with the addition of Piggy Bank Team Deathmatch and Roulette. Piggy Bank Team Deathmatch introduces a Mega Piggy Bank that grows with each elimination, offering a substantial payout during the match. On the other hand, Roulette rewards players for scoring eliminations with a special handgun that poses a risk of backfiring.
Zombies Join the Squid Game Fun
The Squid Game influence extends to the Zombies mode as well, with new variants of Liberty Falls and Citadelle des Morts. Expect distinctive Green Light and Red Light phases, a Dead Light phase that intensifies gameplay, and a drained Essence feature for moving players.
Earn Rewards with the Event Pass
Players can contribute to the new Squid Game Event Pass through earned XP in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The Event Pass is free for all players, with the option to unlock the Premium Track for 1,100 COD Points. The free path includes two operator skins and a new melee weapon, while the Premium Track offers exclusive rewards like new weapon Blueprints and the Front Man operator.
Exciting In-Game Store Bundles
Three new Squid Game bundles have arrived in the in-game store, featuring captivating items like the Squid Game 2: Pink Guards Tracer Pack, Squid Game 2: The VIPs Tracer Pack, and Squid Game 2: Young-hee Tracer Pack. The last pack includes the chilling Young-hee operator, a unique finishing move, and additional digital treasures.
