PS Stars Progress Reset Reminder
A friendly heads up to all PS Stars members, the annual progress reset has taken place earlier this week. Those aiming to maintain their level need to ensure they meet the requirements within the next year, or else risk dropping a level by 2026.
Understanding the PS Stars Level System
Upon launching the PS App for the first time this year, users are notified that their progress has been reset to the beginning of their previous level. To retain their status, members must meet specific criteria such as purchasing four full games from the PS Store and earning a minimum of 128 Rare and above trophies.
The PS App also provides an estimated projection of members’ level in one year based on their progress towards meeting the set requirements. However, there seems to be some confusion surrounding what happens if current levels are not maintained. While the assumption is a drop to the previous level by 2026, the PS App indicates a fall back to level 1 for all members.
Whether it’s a mistake on Sony’s end or an intentional reset to level 1 for individuals at levels 3 and 4, it’s advisable to complete the outlined tasks to avoid a complete reset of progress.
