Upcoming Marvel Rivals Buffs and Nerfs for Season 1

Marvel Rivals Seasonal Updates

As Season 0 of Marvel Rivals comes to a close, NetEase has announced some significant changes to hero balancing with buffs and nerfs. These adjustments will impact Season 1’s meta, shaping the future team compositions and character choices.

Seasonal Buff Changes

According to a post from XOXLEAK on X, here’s a preview of what to expect:

During Season 0, Hela and Hawkeye received a 20% damage buff, but they will be excluded from the buff rotation in Season 1. This change implies that these heroes may see a decline in usage as their skill-to-damage ratio has been adjusted.

Conversely, Wolverine and Storm are expected to receive buffs in the upcoming season, although the specifics of these changes remain unclear. Players speculate that both heroes might receive a damage boost, addressing Storm’s current weakness in dealing damage efficiently and enhancing Wolverine’s tank-busting capabilities.

Support hero Cloak and Dagger will also receive additional buffs in Season 1 beyond the 15% healing buff they currently have. This adjustment aims to improve their performance as a support character.

Furthermore, Venom and Captain America will benefit from increased mobility in Season 1, enhancing their overall speed in matches. The exact nature of these mobility enhancements is yet to be disclosed.

Stay tuned for further updates on these balance changes around January 9 after the conclusion of Season 0 and the introduction of the Fantastic 4.
