Get Ready for Nightreign: Elden Ring’s Co-op Spin-off Network Test
Exciting news for Elden Ring fans – the network test for the game’s upcoming co-op spin-off, Nightreign, is just around the corner!
Starting this afternoon at 2pm UK time, eager players can register to participate in the test.
Mark your calendars for the test scheduled from 14th to 17th February, with gameplay running in three-hour blocks each day. The sessions on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, will be held from 11am to 2pm UK time. On the 15th, there will be two sessions – one from 3am to 6am and another from 7pm to 10pm. The session on the 16th will once again run from 11am to 2pm, and the final session on the 17th will run from 3am to 6am.
The network test for Nightreign will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the full game also accessible on PC via Steam, as well as Xbox One and PS4 consoles.
“The network test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch,” as stated on the Nightreign’s network test information page. Various technical online system checks will be conducted to examine large-scale network load tests.
Players diving into Elden Ring: Nightreign on its release will face the challenge of “outlasting a three day-and-night cycle, making split decisions about combat and exploration across changing maps to become strong enough to take down terrifying bosses at the end of each day”.
Hidetaki Miyazaki, FromSoftware boss, confirmed that Elden Ring 2 is not in development at this time. However, with Nightreign expanding upon the beloved franchise, fans can continue to immerse themselves in the world of Elden Ring following the success of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
