Esports events calendar 2025: Major leagues and tournaments

Esports enthusiasts have a rich array of competitions to follow throughout the year, spread across various games with their unique schedules. Each month comes packed with major tournaments and events catering to fans of multiple esports titles.

To ease the navigation of the bustling esports calendar, Esports Insider has compiled a comprehensive list of events scheduled for 2025. From annual World Championships to regional leagues, there’s something for every esports fan to look forward to.

January kicks off with League of Legends and VALORANT leading the competitive esports calendar with their international leagues starting. Alongside, Apex Legends wraps up its latest season with the 2024 ALGS Championship set in Japan.

February witnesses top teams in Rainbow Six Siege, VALORANT, and Counter-Strike 2 clash at the Six Invitational 2025, VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 respectively. Additionally, Fortnite takes the spotlight with its online Major 1 Grand Finals.

March sees the debut of League of Legends’ new tournament, First Stand. Meanwhile, Capcom Cup 11, the premier event for Street Fighter 6, and Rocket League’s RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major shine in a month packed with esports action.

April in 2025 is dominated by Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2, with tournaments such as PGL Bucharest, BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, IEM Spring, ESL One Raleigh, and PGL Wallachia Season 4 all commencing during the month. Additionally, Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major and ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 are notable events.
