OG Esports Appoints Daniel Sanders as New CEO

European esports organisation OG Esports has recently named Daniel Sanders as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Sanders, who joined OG Esports in 2023 as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), will now take on the responsibility of shaping the strategic direction of the organization.

With more than two decades of experience in the gaming and esports industry, Sanders has held prominent roles at Tencent Games, Red Bull, and was previously a manager at Dignitas.

Prior to his role at OG Esports, Sanders served as the Marketing Director at Luckbox, a betting platform, before the company ceased its B2C operations.

“I’m incredibly proud and honoured to be asked to lead OG,” said Daniel Sanders, the newly appointed CEO of OG Esports.

“OG has always resonated with my vision for the industry with its strong and positive philosophy. The organization boasts one of the most powerful brands in esports, and we have an exciting future ahead. I am eager to bring this vision to life with such a passionate and talented team.”

Established in 2015 by Johan ‘n0tail’ Sundstein, OG Esports is a renowned esports brand best known for its achievements in Dota 2, having secured victories at The International in 2018 and 2019. Besides Dota 2, OG Esports also competes in Counter-Strike 2 and Rocket League. While the organization previously had a VALORANT roster, it disbanded at the conclusion of 2022.
