Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 is set to launch on January 28, bringing a plethora of fresh content for Multiplayer. In addition to enhancements for Multiplayer, Black Ops 6 Zombies will also see exciting new additions.

New Zombies Map: The Tomb

One of the most significant updates is the introduction of a brand new Zombies map called The Tomb. This new map continues the story of protagonists Weaver, Maya, Carver, and Grey as they explore a mysterious lost catacomb in their ongoing battle against the Dark Aether.

Accompanied by a comms team consisting of returning favorites S.A.M., Ravenow, Peck, Raptor One, and Strauss, players will also encounter the ghost of Sir Archibald, an explorer from a failed 1908 expedition in the area.

Exploring The Tomb

The adventure begins at an overground dig site and progresses through ancient Neolithic Catacombs, Tombs, a Shrine filled with traps, and a subterranean temple leading to the Dark Aether Nexus.

New Enemies and Weapons

Players will encounter new enemies in The Tomb, such as the Shock Mimic, which can disguise itself as objects and deliver a powerful electric bite. Zombies in the map will be dressed as ancient figures like laborers, worshippers, and guards.

The Tomb also introduces a new Wonder Weapon, the Staff of Ice. This weapon can unleash a freezing magic attack and revive downed teammates with a restorative blast. Completing the map’s main quest will reward players with the X91 Ice-Pick Wonder Weapon Skin, 5,000 XP, and a unique Calling Card.

Perks and Power-Ups

Players can look forward to perks like the returning Death Perception and three new GobbleGums. Death Perception now comes with enhanced abilities for Black Ops 6, while GobbleGums like Dead Drop and Modified Chaos offer gameplay advantages. Additionally, the Quacknarok gobblegum adds a touch of humor by equipping every zombie with a rubber duck pool lounger.

Directed Mode, a feature that guides players through the Main Quest, is expected to be included in the Season 2 mid-season update.
