Latest Developer_Direct Reveals Exciting New Games

During the recent Developer_Direct event, we were treated to exclusive gameplay footage and developer insights on four highly anticipated games set to launch for Xbox Series X|S, PC, Game Pass, and cloud platforms. Additionally, a surprise remastered version of a beloved classic was announced during the show.

We had the opportunity to delve into the development of DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and the newly unveiled NINJA GAIDEN 4 through discussions with the teams behind these projects. Furthermore, in celebration of the return of NINJA GAIDEN, a remastered edition of NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black was released for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass on the same day.

Not only do all the games showcased in the event support Xbox Cloud Gaming, but they also embrace the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. This means that players can enjoy these titles on both Xbox and Windows PC without any additional cost, with their progress and achievements synchronized across platforms.

DOOM: The Dark Ages – Launching May 15, 2025

South of Midnight – Launching April 8, 2025
