Pokémon Go Ralts Community Day guide

Pokémon Go is gearing up for a special Ralts Community Day Classic event scheduled on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 2-5 p.m. in your local time zone.

During this Community Day event, players can expect to encounter an abundance of Ralts, with an increased likelihood of finding shiny variants. In addition to boosted Ralts spawns, there are various bonuses and perks available for trainers to enjoy.

Strategies for Finding Shiny Ralts in Pokémon Go

Historical data from The Silph Road suggests that the shiny encounter rates during Community Days are approximately 1 in 24. To maximize your chances of encountering shiny Ralts, it is recommended to stay active in the game throughout the three-hour event window.

One strategy to improve your chances of finding shiny Ralts efficiently is to use Incense and quickly check each Ralts you encounter for shininess, avoiding non-shiny ones. Keep in mind that Ralts will face the direction of your player after interaction, aiding in identifying previously checked encounters.

Community Day Exclusive Move for Ralts’ Evolution

By evolving Kirlia into Gardevoir or Gallade during the Community Day event until Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. local time, the evolved Pokémon will learn the charged move Synchronoise. Players who miss this evolution window can expect another opportunity during a future Community Day weekend event in December or use an Elite TM to teach the move.

Gardevoir and Gallade in the Pokémon Go Meta

Both Gardevoir and Gallade have the ability to Mega Evolve, with their Mega forms achieving high levels of damage per second (DPS). Players are encouraged to secure strong individuals of these species, especially for Mega Energy purposes.

In particular, Mega Gardevoir excels as a fairy-type attacker when equipped with moves like Charm and Dazzling Gleam. Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir serve as potent psychic-type attackers when utilizing moves such as Confusion and Psychic.

While both species see some usage in PvP battles, Gallade exhibits superior performance compared to Gardevoir in these scenarios.

Tips to Optimize Ralts Community Day

Here are the bonuses active during Ralts Community Day:

  • 1⁄4 hatch distance for eggs in Incubators
  • Three-hour duration for Incense and Lure Modules
  • Ralts photo-bombs during snapshots

Trainers are advised to focus on Incubators, Incense, and capturing powerful Ralts during the event. Players with Mega Evolvable Pokémon like Alakazam, Slowbro, Gardevoir, and more can earn additional Ralts Candy per catch.

To evolve Kirlia into Gallade, Sinnoh Stones are required. Timed Research during the event offers the chance to obtain up to four Sinnoh Stones, while Field Research rewards Mega Energy. This presents an excellent opportunity to stock up on resources for future Evolutions.

Additional “Community Day Continued” Timed Research will be available until Feb. 1, offering more Ralts encounters, including a unique themed background variant.
