How to Obtain a Mole and Enhance Your Shovel in Dig It
If you’re digging in Dig It, you may come across a valuable item known as the Mole. This item can be used to enhance the power of your shovel through enchantment. If you’re new to this process, here’s a guide on how to find a Mole and enchant your shovel.
Locating a Mole
To find a Mole, simply dig in the ground on any island using a shovel. While the quality of the shovel isn’t crucial, having a better shovel will make it easier to unearth the Mole. Be careful not to accidentally sell the Mole if you plan on using it to enchant your shovel.
Enchanting Your Shovel
To enhance your shovel and make it more powerful, sail to Mole Island with the Mole you’ve discovered. If you’re currently on Nookville (Starter Island), you should spot an island with two palm trees that is Mole Island.
Give the Mole to the giant Mole on the island by interacting and pressing E to Offer Mole. This serves as your enchanting item. Next, present the shovel you wish to upgrade to the Mole. After a brief interaction, the Mole will return with your newly enchanted shovel. Check the stats of your shovel to see the improvements highlighted in green.
Enhancing your shovel with a Mole can significantly boost its stats, so it’s recommended to use this feature on your best or favorite shovel. Keep in mind that Moles can be rare finds.
There are three tiers of enchantments, each affecting your shovel differently. Using a normal mole will grant a tier 1 enchantment with a small chance for tiers 2 or 3, while a royal mole will result in a tier 2 enchantment with a higher chance for tier 3.
Here are the current 10 enchants available:
- Precise – Boosts your shovel’s precision stat.
- Control – Boosts your shovel’s control stat.
- Lucky – Boosts your shovel’s loot luck stat.
- Strong – Boosts your shovel’s strength stat.
- Stamina – Lowers your shovel’s stamina loss stat.
- Durable – Boosts your shovel’s max weight.
- Perfect – Boosts all stats and lowers stamina loss.
- Blessed – Boosts luck, stability, control, precision, and lowers stamina loss.
- Super – Boosts strength, precision, control, stability, and max weight.
- Secret – Boosts the chance of digging a secret (1/100k). Tier 1 = 1/50k, Tier 2 = 1/40k, and Tier 3 = 1/33.3k.
