Reacher Season 3 Review

Reacher Season 3 Premieres with Explosive Action

Season 3 of Reacher debuts on Thursday, February 20 on Prime, kicking off with the first three episodes. Subsequent episodes will follow each Thursday until March 27, 2025.

Based on Lee Child’s novel Persuader from 2003, Reacher’s third season on Prime brings fans more of the face-pounding, shotgun-pumping action they love. This season sees our protagonist facing off against a towering adversary, a hulking henchman portrayed by 7-foot, 2-inch Dutch bodybuilder Olivier Richters. This fresh challenge adds a new dimension to Reacher’s exploits, making for an exhilarating viewing experience.

Set in Maine, Season 3 sees Reacher embroiled in a DEA operation while searching for a missing undercover informant. The season’s core theme of “Never forgive, never forget” drives Reacher’s relentless pursuit of justice, setting the stage for intense action and suspense.

Actor Alan Ritchson continues to impress in his role as Reacher, showcasing the character’s blend of brains and brawn with flair. While some moments feel slightly verbose, Ritchson’s portrayal captures Reacher’s stoic determination and lethal efficiency.

One of the standout new additions in Season 3 is DEA agent Susan Duffy, played by Sonya Cassidy. Duffy’s strong presence and sharp wit inject additional depth into the series, creating compelling dynamics alongside Reacher.

While the season’s villains may not hit the mark consistently, the action remains a highlight, delivering thrilling combat sequences and satisfying kills. Season 3 showcases Reacher at his most ruthless, promising an adrenaline-fueled ride for viewers.
