The next surreal dice-rolling RPG from Cosmo D is a terrific follow-up to Betrayal at Club Low

Exciting News for Cosmo D Fans!

Today marks the release of Chapter 1 of Cosmo D’s latest project, Moves of the Diamond Hand. This game will be split into four chapters, with Chapter 1 currently available as a free demo on PC. The subsequent chapters will be released in paid early access at a later date.

If you’re familiar with Cosmo D’s previous works like Off-Peak and The Norwood Suite, you’ll know to expect a unique and intriguing experience in Moves of the Diamond Hand. This game continues the trend of the Off Peak City-verse with its offbeat tone, surreal architecture, and enigmatic characters. However, this time, the focus is on dice-rolling skill checks reminiscent of Betrayal at Club Low.

As you embark on a journey to join Circus X, you’ll encounter old friends and hone your core skills: cooking, deception, music, observation, physique, wisdom, and wit, all represented by six-sided dice. Success in various tasks will allow you to improve these skills, giving you better odds in the challenging situations that lie ahead.

Chapter 1 of Moves of the Diamond Hand begins on a subway train and takes you through the station, where you must navigate lockdowns and unravel mysteries using your skills and a bit of luck. The game features entertaining dialogues and multiple ways to approach interactions, whether it’s through humor, deception, or culinary expertise.
