The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack looks like the small business overhaul I’ve always wanted

The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack launches next month

The highly anticipated expansion pack for The Sims 4 is set to launch on March 6, introducing a variety of exciting new features for players to enjoy. Titled The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies, this expansion pack focuses on giving players the ability to create and manage their own small businesses within the game.

One of the key highlights of this expansion pack is the opportunity to set up your very own shop, complete with a range of new skills, aspirations, items, and more. Players will have the flexibility to design and customize their dream businesses, whether it be a gym, art gallery, or even a nightclub.

Additionally, the expansion pack includes new gameplay elements such as the ability to charge customers entrance fees or fees for their time spent on the premises using a ticket kiosk item. Players can also designate specific areas of their home as open to the public or create employee-only spaces for hired Sims.

Exciting new skills like tattooing and pottery are also introduced in this pack, allowing players to create custom designs and usable ceramic objects to sell to in-game customers. The addition of Idealist and Shady traits further enhances the gameplay experience by providing unique character customization options based on different business approaches.

Two new aspirations, Esteem Entrepreneur and Master Mentor, offer players the chance to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams or focus on teaching others their skills. The expansion also introduces a new town called Nordhaven, featuring a Scandinavian-themed city with distinct historic and modern districts.

The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies will be compatible with all platforms currently supported by The Sims 4, including PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Players can pre-order the expansion pack for $39.99 / £34.99, with early purchasers receiving exclusive digital content.
