Missing PS Plus Game Returns to Catalog With New PS5 Port

A PS Plus Extra game that mysteriously vanished from the catalog has now made its triumphant return with the release of its PS5 port. Annapurna Interactive surprised fans by dropping the PS5 version of the popular indie game Sayonara Wild Hearts at the end of February, only for players to discover that it had mysteriously disappeared from the lineup.

PS Plus game Sayonara Wild Hearts went missing for a week

Initially, it was speculated that Sayonara Wild Hearts’ removal was due to a PS Store glitch caused by an update to the game’s SKU. However, the uncertainty persisted as Sony’s announcement on the PS Blog failed to mention Sayonara Wild Hearts as part of the PS Plus lineup.

Fortunately, the speculation about a PS Store glitch turned out to be true. As of now, Sayonara Wild Hearts is once again available for claiming in the catalog.

While it’s not unusual for games to temporarily disappear from catalogs during SKU updates, a week-long absence is out of the ordinary. It is believed that the prolonged disappearance was related to the addition of Sayonara Wild Hearts’ PS5 version to the list of games available for cloud streaming.

It’s worth noting that the new PS5 port of the game features its own unique trophy list for players to conquer.
