The Tesla Lab in Dead Rails is a unique location that can be discovered around the 50-60km range, although some have stumbled upon it at 20-25km as well. This iconic location is home to Nikola Tesla himself and features a powerful weapon known as the Electrocutioner. The unmistakable red building with multiple windows and a striking Tesla Coil structure atop is a treasure trove of valuable loot, including Gold and Silver Bars, Lightning Rods, and various items that can be sold for profit.
Unraveling the Mysteries of Tesla’s Lab
Upon entering the Tesla Lab, you’ll come across scattered limbs in different rooms. Take your time to carefully explore the area and collect these crucial parts.
Assemble Nikola Tesla by placing all the collected parts onto the table, revealing the genius inventor in all his glory.
Activating the Machine
Head to the room with the machine and power it up by interacting with the lever at the center. Hold down the E key to start the mechanism, which will trigger the appearance of zombies. Stay vigilant and eliminate the undead threats using your arsenal, such as rifles, holy water, or other preferred weapons. Don’t forget to carry Snake Oil and Bandages for healing and even consider bringing a trusty horse for support.
Following the completion of the process, you’ll be rewarded with the Electrocutioner, a lightning-shooting gun that boasts 20 charges of ammo. To recharge the Electrocutioner’s ammo, you can harness lightning using a Lightning Rod during a storm or use holy items like a Crucifix or Holy Water on a fallen enemy with the gun near them to fully recharge it to its original capacity.
Once Nikola Tesla is assembled, he will materialize when you traverse 80,000m in the game. Prepare yourself to face the Tesla boss by lowering the bridge upon which the formidable foe will appear four minutes after initiating the countdown. Take cover inside a building and engage in a heated battle with the boss and other enemy variations lurking nearby.
Emerging victorious against the Tesla boss will earn you a prestigious badge and signify the successful conclusion of your thrilling journey.
