Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in September 2013 and has remained one of the most popular games on PlayStation consoles worldwide. Despite being almost 12 years old, the game continues to be among the top downloads every month.

PlayStation recently revealed the top downloaded games for February 2025 on both PS5 and PS4. In the US/Canada region, Grand Theft Auto 5 ranked fifth on the PS5 and sixth on the PS4. In Europe, the game was the fourth most downloaded on the PS5 and sixth on the PS4.
