Team Vitality Joins French Union of Professional Esports Clubs
Team Vitality, along with 11 other prominent French esports organizations, has come together to form the French Union of Professional Esports Clubs (UFCEP).
Promoting Recognition and Development
The primary goal of this initiative is to advocate for the recognition, growth, and organization of the esports industry, representing all French esports clubs and supporters with a unified voice.
Leadership Roles
According to a press release, the UFCEP will be overseen by a Steering Committee, with Team Vitality Co-founder and CEO Nicolas Maurer as President. Additionally, Arthur Perticoz, former CEO of Karmine Corp, was elected as General Secretary, and Alexander Job, CEO of Galions, will serve as the Treasurer.
Advisory Members
Other key figures in advisory positions include Xavier Oswald from Gentle Mates, David Laniel from GameWard, and Kévin ‘Shaunz’ Ghanbarzadeh, the Founder of Team AEGIS.

As a neutral and independent organization, the members of the Steering Committee will play a vital role in influencing future decisions made by tournament organizers, game publishers, and government bodies.
France’s Role in the Global Esports Scene
France has been actively involved in the global esports landscape by hosting World Championships and fostering internationally recognized talent. With major tournaments like VALORANT Champions and Rocket League World Championship returning to the country, the UFCEP aims to unite French esports clubs under the values of ‘performance, inclusion, and passion’.

In an effort to strengthen France’s position as a growing esports hub, the union is committed to contributing to a sustainable esports ecosystem locally and globally, which includes enhancing talent development structures and establishing clear legal frameworks.
