100 Thieves Reveals Marvel Rivals Roster

After much anticipation, 100 Thieves has finally unveiled its Marvel Rivals roster, featuring the former Team Mutants players. The team has been invited to the organization’s Los Angeles facility to bootcamp and prepare for the Marvel Rivals Invitational North America.

100 Thieves confirmed its entry into the Marvel Rivals esports scene on March 10th. The roster, announced through a video and social media posts, includes former Team Mutants lineup members:

  • Anthony ‘delenaa’ Rosa (Duelist)
  • Marschal ‘Terra’ Weaver (Duelist)
  • Harvey ‘hxrvey’ Scattergood (Strategist)
  • James ‘SJP’ Hudson (Strategist)
  • Eric ‘TTK’ Arraiga (Vanguard)
  • Vincent ‘Vinnie’ Scarantine (Vanguard)
  • Huu ‘Billion’ Ngo (Flex)

The team will be managed by ‘BlueJae’ and coached by Joshua ‘Tensa’ Small, known for coaching Fisher College’s Overwatch squad. The former Team Mutants roster has a successful track record in Marvel Rivals esports, winning championships in Season 0 NA and the Battle For Asgard tournament.

Since joining 100 Thieves, the players’ success has continued with a victory in the Rivals Fight Night #2, where they defeated FlyQuest and Fight Night #1 winner Sentinels.

High Hopes for Marvel Rivals Esports

Sentinels unveiled its Marvel Rivals roster on March 3rd, joining other organizations like Fnatic and Luminosity in the pursuit of the game’s popularity. 100 Thieves Founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag expressed optimism for the esports scene, stating, “Marvel Rivals is a once-in-a-generation gaming title, and I’m thrilled to see how this talented team will perform.”

Joseph Jang, 100 Thieves’ Vice President of Esports, confirmed the organization’s commitment to Marvel Rivals esports, aiming to shape and build a core part of the game’s competitive scene. The new roster is preparing for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Invitational at 100 Thieves’ facility in Los Angeles, participating in the North American competition of the event starting today.

The tournament, running until March 23rd, will feature eight teams competing for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. The EMEA Invitationals recently concluded, with Virtus.Pro emerging as the champions over runner-up Team OG.
