Since its late 2024 release, NetEase’s Marvel-themed hero shooter has quickly become one of the leading FPS games globally, attracting over 40 million players in the last three months. The Marvel Rivals Invitational marks the game’s first official tournament, sparking curiosity within the competitive community about its potential as an esport.

Four regions are participating in the Marvel Rivals Invitational, each hosting its own tournament. Up next is the EMEA region, scheduled from February 28th to March 9th. A recent tweet unveiled the eight participating teams, including some well-known esports organizations.
