Bloober Team, known for their work on the Silent Hill 2 remake and Layers of Fear, has revealed their latest horror game I Hate This Place at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. This new title is inspired by the Eisner award-nominated comic book series created by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin.

I Hate This Place is set to launch in Q4 2025 for various gaming platforms and will be developed by Rock Square Thunder. The game offers an isometric perspective with a unique visual style drawing from 80s comic book aesthetics.

In the game, players take on the role of Elena, who must navigate a hostile world after awakening a malevolent force known as the Horned Man. Players will face challenging foes and must use creativity to survive encounters through gunfights, melee combat, and crafting essential tools.

Exclusive Look: Bloober Team also teased their upcoming game Cronos: The New Dawn, set to release this year for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The studio provided a sneak peek at the first episode of the game’s dev diary, offering insights into the world of Cronos, gameplay mechanics, and the protagonist’s journey.

Cronos: The New Dawn, announced in October 2024, promises a unique horror experience blending mystery, time travel, and intense survival elements.
