Xenoblade Chronicles X For Nintendo Switch Is Already Discounted

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is currently available at a discounted price of $50 (originally $60) on Woot. This new Nintendo Switch exclusive was just released on March 20, and Woot, an Amazon-owned discount shop, is known for offering $10 discounts on Nintendo games during launch week. This deal has already sold out once, so act fast if you want to grab a copy at the reduced price.

It’s worth noting that when you order a Switch game from Woot, you may receive an imported copy. However, since all Nintendo Switch games are region-free, the only noticeable difference will be the ratings board logo. Your copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X will be sealed and fully playable in English, so if you don’t mind a slightly different box, it’s a chance to save $10.

Woot currently has several Nintendo Switch game deals available, including other recent Nintendo exclusives.

Xenoblade Chronicles Nintendo Amiibo Figures

Nintendo has introduced five Amiibo figures based on characters from Xenoblade Chronicles. Three of these figures are currently available at or around their retail prices. Shulk, the main character from the first Xenoblade Chronicles, can be purchased exclusively at Target for $16. A 2-pack featuring Noah and Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is available for $42 on Amazon and Walmart, which is $12 more than the original $30 MSRP. Finally, a 2-pack featuring Pyra and Mythra is priced at $30 at GameStop, but considering its recent reprint on March 20, availability may be limited.

Xenoblade Chronicles Mainline Series

Xenoblade Chronicles mainline series

While it’s not necessary to play the mainline Xenoblade Chronicles series before trying Xenoblade Chronicles X, RPG enthusiasts with a Nintendo Switch should definitely consider giving them a shot. The Xenoblade series is widely regarded as one of the best RPG series on the Switch and possibly one of the best trilogies overall.

If you’re new to the series, starting with Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is a great choice. Walmart offers the physical edition for $53 and digital copies for $54. The most recent entry, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, is also available at a slight discount. You can purchase the digital bundle, which includes the game and Expansion Pass, for $85 at Walmart.

It may be challenging to find physical US versions of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in new condition, but GameStop offers preowned copies for $55. Alternatively, the UK version is readily available on Amazon and functions in all regions. However, you’ll either need to create a European eShop account or buy a physical version of Torna Country, the game’s expansion, to experience the entire story. The digital edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is priced at $52.79 on Walmart.
