Naoe and Yasuke have the opportunity to engage in romantic relationships in the game, but they cannot be involved with each other romantically. Naoe Romance
Naoe has the opportunity to pursue relationships with both Gennojo and Katsuhime simultaneously, with no apparent negative consequences for doing so. Since these two characters do not interact in the game, there should be no conflict. Here is how to romance both Gennojo and Katsuhime:
Romancing Gennojo
- Missing Missive = Engage in combat with Gennojo and retrieve the stolen letter.
- Sake and Swords = Select the “Depends what you’re offering” and “Show me, thief” options during dialogues when prompted.
- Honor Among Thieves = Complete the quest by infiltrating and stealing the scroll Gennojo mentioned in Kyoto. Choose the “I’m keeping it, then” response when speaking to him before the mission concludes.
- Stolen Hearts = Locate Gennojo northwest of the Hills of Meeting and choose “I’m here for you” during the initial conversation. Opt for “I’d like to embrace you” when given the choice.
Romancing Katsuhime
- Showdown in Sakamoto = Pick the “I like your teppo” option when conversing with Katsuhime.
- Letter from Katsuhime = When offering Katsuhime a spot in the league, respond with “It offers time with me.”
- The Tales of Genin = After assisting Katsuhime in defeating the pirates attacking the family, express “I do enjoy your company” during your final conversation with her.
- Diary of Lady Rokkaku = After rescuing Katsuhime and carrying her out of the castle, recruit her as a companion by saying, “Yes. Join us.”
- The Jounin Pillow Book: Choose the “Let’s find out” option during the initial discussion, followed by “Yes. Forever” later on.
Yasuke Romance
Lady Oichi is the sole romantic option for Yasuke, but her relationship with him is more complex compared to Naoe’s choices. As the sister of a feudal lord, the bond between Yasuke and Lady Oichi appears to be constrained and understated. Here is how to romance her:
Romancing Lady Oichi
- An Education = Select “Some company might be nice” when prompted during the dialogue.
- The Wheel Unmasked = Spare the life of your target at the end of the quest.
- The Wheel Turns = Choose “I miss your smile” during the initial conversation. After speaking with her three daughters, opt for “Let’s enjoy the moment” when prompted in subsequent dialogues.
Note: Your decision regarding the dog during The Wheel Turns quest will not affect the progression of the romance.
