New Glitch in Arc Raiders Prevents Players from Drawing Weapons
When you step into the world of Arc Raiders, you definitely need to keep your guns ready—what with the constant tension of facing giant robots and rival players eyeing your supplies. Unfortunately, a frustrating glitch has been sidelining some players, rendering their weapons unusable, and it appears to be spreading.
A clip featuring Richard Tyler, better known as ‘Ninja,’ highlights this annoying issue. In the midst of an active firefight, Ninja grapples into the fray only to find he can’t draw his weapon. As he struggles to explain the situation to his teammates over voice chat, he finds himself defenseless. It’s a tough moment, and esports reporter Jake Lucky was quick to share it, revealing that fellow streamer Nadeshot has faced a similar predicament. Many others chimed in, sharing their own experiences, leading some to believe they were the only ones suffering through this frustration.
Responses from players have been pouring in, expressing their grievances about the glitch. One player stated, “Yeah, sadly it happens quite a lot. Nothing worse than trying to engage and just… standing there helpless. Hope they patch it soon.” Another chimed in, “Yuppp, was happening to me too yesterday, thought I was losing it for real.” A third user added, “This happened to me. I could pull out my main gun and raider tool, but not my second gun.”
While there haven’t been many clips surfacing yet, it’s likely we’ll see more as players become aware of the issue and find it easier to replicate. So far, Embark Studios has not made any public comment regarding the glitch, but with more players reporting the same problem, it’s reasonable to expect that a fix is on the horizon.
As the player community grapples with this challenge, one lingering question remains: Was the sacrifice of their characters worth it for some Expedition loot?
