Earlier this month, the spiritual successor to Road Rash, Road Redemption (Free), was announced to be coming soon to mobile. It has started rolling out worldwide earlier today on iOS and should be out worldwide in the next few hours on Android as well. Road Redemption was in early access on PC before it saw a complete release and even hit consoles soon after. Road Redemption on mobile lets you play the beginning portions for free with a single in-app purchase available to unlock the full game. It features controller support and touch control options that are customizable. I’m glad…

Following the massively successful launch of Splatoon 3, Nintnedo has released a big update for the Nintendo Switch Online (Free) companion app on iOS and Android. Today, a new update has gone live, version 2.3.0, bringing in support for home screen widgets from Splatoon 3. These let you view your battle logs, current gear, stage rotation schedule,…

Over the weekend, Netflix and Nightschool Studio announced and released Oxenfree: Netflix Edition (Free) worldwide on iOS and Android. This new version of Oxenfree: Netflix Edition is a separate release, and the prior version that I own, is no longer available on mobile. You can redownload it, but it hasn’t gotten any of the new updates and enhancements present in Oxenfree: Netflix Edition. This version includes 24 new subtitle languages, improvements to stability, support for newer devices compared to the prior standalone version, and more. The side-scrolling adventure game debuted on mobile back in 2017. Watch the new Oxenfree: Netflix…

There aren’t a lot of stories like that of the development of Loose Nozzles, and of those games that do have an interesting development story, even fewer are actually decent games to play. Loose Nozzles nails both, though. The way it was created is interesting and heartwarming, but when it comes to gameplay it’s also nuanced and thoughtfully designed. This is a full package deal and one of the more challenging and engrossing games I’ve played in a while. First off, what is Loose Nozzles? Well it’s kind of a blend of Lunar Lander and Choplifter. You’ll fly a rocket…

Available now on iOS and Android, One Punch Man – The Strongest lets players experience the popular Japanese anime series in a new way on mobile. The RPG features strategic turn-based combat along with over 60 characters, including both heroes and villains that players can collect from the original series. There’s also a variety of game modes to tinker around with. One Punch Man – The Strongest follows the narrative of Saitama and his struggles with a villain-filled world. The only problem is that he often defeats them with a single punch – and what’s the challenge in that? The…

Shovel Knight Dig () from Nitrome and Yacht Club Games is this week’s new Apple Arcade release. It is definitely one of my favorite additions to the service ever, and a fantastic game overall. I played it a few hours ago when it started rolling out, and absolutely love everything about it. IT has a new Shovel Knight story and style as well. Regardless of if you love Shovel Knight or if you’re new to the games, Shovel Knight Dig is an essential on Apple Arcade. It has that signature Nitrome polish as well. Check it out here on Apple…

The original Tallowmere from developer Chris McFarland launched on mobile way back in 2015, and to be honest it did not leave a good first impression with me. For lack of a better term, it just seemed… janky, and right from the start the game sort of throws you into the deep end without a ton of explanation. For whatever reason though it intrigued me, and I kept playing, and then dying, and then playing, and then dying some more, over and over until everything really clicked and to my surprise I was majorly hooked. Now its bigger and beefier…
