Last night, Simon Collins-Laflamme, the returning owner and founding force behind Hytale, took to social media to announce that this latest patch will introduce dinosaurs to Zone 4, modify the tinkling sound effects heard during mining, and allow players to place torches while dual-wielding—definitely a handy addition for those nighttime adventures.

Incredible updates just two days into early access? This isn’t just a flash in the pan. Collins-Laflamme further shared that the team is aiming to “balance ores” and adjust mineral spawn rates as they move into the upcoming weeks. Once the “launch week chaos” settles, he plans to shift focus to addressing modding fixes.

“No brakes!” Collins-Laflamme exclaimed to fans in his latest posts. The community is clearly ecstatic about these nonstop updates.
