Ubisoft has confirmed that another DLC is on the way for Star Wars Outlaws, set to be unveiled during Star Wars Celebration Japan this month. To get fans excited, a teaser image has been released.
In a tweet, Ubisoft stated, “Tune in to get a first glimpse at what’s next for Star Wars Outlaws. Join us on April 18th at Star Wars Celebration to learn more.” The accompanying poster features Hondo Ohnaka in his typically dubious style, alongside starfighters that appear to be pursuing a small escape pod.
The upcoming DLC is titled A Pirate’s Fortune, and details about its storyline were initially shared last year: “The Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay as she runs into veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates.” This teaser marks our first substantial update regarding the expansion since its announcement. Hondo Ohnaka has been a familiar face during the Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, earning a dedicated fan following over the years.
A Pirate’s Fortune is scheduled for release in “spring 2025,” as noted in the previous roadmap. The last DLC, titled Wild Card, presented a fun side story that differed from the main narrative, and I remain hopeful that this upcoming expansion will deliver something equally engaging, if not a bit more substantial. We’ll learn more details soon.
